Scholarships and Grants

Scholarship to AOSA National Conference

Each year NCAOSA offers its members one scholarship to the AOSA National Conference, which usually occurs during the first or second week in November. The scholarship is for the cost of registration (currently $279) plus an additional $100 towards transportation, hotel and any other expenses. To attend the conference you must be a member of AOSA; this is a separate cost.

Scholarship Qualifications:

  • Current membership in NCAOSA
  • Have never attended an AOSA National Conference
  • Demonstrate a serious interest in and commitment to Orff Schulwerk
  • Write an article for PlayNotes newsletter about conference experience.

Please contact Sarah Noll, snoll@headroyce.org, for the scholarship application form.

Outreach Scholarship

This scholarship allows members to invite a guest to attend one full-day chapter workshop free of charge. View and print the form.

Chapter Grants
This grant is intended to foster local collaboration within NCAOSA and covers the clinician’s fee, not including travel, as the NCAOSA budget permits. The local chapter or organization would provide a space and cover smaller costs such as postage and printing. The NCAOSA mailing list is an available resource, within the constraints of our nonprofit status and member privacy policy. Applicants must be current members. In the spirit of this grant, groups awarded are asked to share their experience in
PlayNotes. Send new proposals to NCAOSA President Sarah Noll, P.O. Box 6027, Napa, California 94581; or snoll@headroyce.org. Application period is open, with long lead times encouraged.

AOSA Scholarships and Grants
NCAOSA members who are also members of the national organization AOSA are eligible to apply for a wide range of scholarships and grants for both training and equipment:
