About the Forum

NCAOSA is proud to present our own new forum!

After several years with an advertisement supported forum on bravenet.com (which many found quite annoying), we have set up a new forum that is hosted on our own website and has no advertisements. There are a few differences with the new forum, outlined below.

Anyone can browse and read the forums, but in order to post you must register and provide an e-mail address to verify your registration. This helps us reduce spam and unwanted postings. Please note, this is a separate registration from the Topica e-mail list. You must sign up for each one separately (and you can cancel either at any point, too). The choices are yours. This is an attempt by NCAOSA to protect members from junk mail, spam and the like.

You also have an option to set up your profile, optionally including information such as your e-mail, an avatar, a saying, etc.

Whereas our bravenet forum (the old forum) organized all postings according to date, this new forum organizes posts by thread. This allows discussions to continue more easily, with replies clearly visible under their original question. This forum, along with our Topica e-mail list, are part of our new strategy to move more communications online (saving paper, time, and money).
