Session HostsEach of our almost 200 sessions will require three official people...a session introducer, a session host, and a session monitor. Session Introducers- Introduce the presenter, open the workshop. These are often administrators- superintendants, principals, etc. If you think of someone from your district who should be invited to introduce a session, e-mail Janet (jthorgrimson@comcast.net) with the persons name, position, and contact information. The Session Introducers are usually invited to introduce two sessions and then receive complimentary registration for the conference. We need to have all Session Introducers invited and confirmed by September 15th, 2007. You can add people to our data base by filling in the easy electronic form. Session Hosts are usually music teachers who volunteer to be on hand to help the presenters with what they need, making sure that all instruments, AV, chair set up, etc. are how the presenter wants it. To volunteer to be a Session Host, contact Cindy (musicandmovement@comcast.net). Session Monitors are usually college students who stand at the door and check that everyone entering is registered for the session. If you yourself would like to be a Session Monitor or know of someone who would be a good candidate, contact John Buschiazzo at tbonebusch36@astound.net At the conference, we will need a team taking shifts at the table where introducers, hosts and monitors check in. |
